Desantis is playing the long game well, he’s staying fairly well out of this circus bar the odd comment to keep the nuts on side. There is no way Donnie was ever coming back at all not to mind after this week. Desantis is will win back those moderate Republicans who didn’t vote for Trump last time or lo and behold voted Biden last time out to see the back of Trump. His appeal with the Latinos makes him a banker not just for the nomination but the White House. Very hard for the Democrats to get the extended base out they got last time when Trump is not standing.
