Tommy Walsh - KK version

What he has been doing and getting away with in the last 3 years is worse than Paul Galvin, Aidan and Dirty Dara. Pure filth.

He's a dirty little fucker and no mistake. It's just a pity he's not playing for UCC anymore.
I'd like to see him try that shit in the County championship, he'd be sorted out early.

Walsh is just the most obvious practitioner of the "puke hurling" that KK employ.
Overly physical with opponents hurleys being grabbed to ensure they don't break from the tackle being the one tactic they employ again and again.
They get away with it because refs like Barry Kelly seem to view this as not being a foul.
Like Ulster football teams, they surround the man on the ball with three or four markers, with the one on the refs blind side doing the dodgy pulling and grabbing.
Kelly in particular is a sucker for this and invariably penalises the fouled player for overcarrying.

He made 3 yellow card fouls in the A1 final last year but only got one.

The only good thing is that Mulcahy/Ruth/Flynn all highlighted his dirty play in the Galway game and Mulcahy said that he has been at it now for some time.

It's time that all commentators highlight KK's high number of yellow cards going forward and, more to the point, we need an interviewer to ask Cody about it.

At least this year they are been yellow carded for dirty play across the team. Last year they were getting away with everything.

the sad thing about it his, he doesn't need to do it. He has more skill in his thumb than most Intercounty hurlers out there, yet he constantly gets away with dangerous pulls across the body

The ref from the Galway game should surely be brought to hand and asked why Walsh was not sent off. Some filthy play by a player who only seems to have been copped onto now as i doubt he started this sort of play all of a sudden. At least people now know what he is like..
