The Official Tennis Thread

They've been juicing for years in tennis. Even taking a shot of pain killers before a match I'd even consider performance enhancing. Then to listen to the commentators staying how brave the player is. It's not.

first year since 2002 that none of Fed, Nadal, Joker win one.
actually as much as I dislike him shows whata great achievement Joker had last year, aged 36, winning three and almost 4.
Could still sneak another Australian but I hope this is the end. Has been very inconsistent this year and kinda fluked the olympics

Yeah, nothing dodgy about that at all......
haha,
was up late last night but forgot semis were on in NY, havent seen much of this,
for anybody who has watched it my question-Is Draper the real deal? He has come from nowhere really in this tournament never getting past the 2nd round of a slam before and I havent heard the British media bigging him up.
He will have to overcome what happened last night and deal better with the tension of 5 set slam matches.
Sinner and Alcaraz have proven they are made of the right stuff, however it is highly unlikely they will dominate over the next decade like the big three did, can Draper move into that bracket? Of the others who won a slam in the last 15 years- Wawrinka & Murray had good careers, Cilic now 35 never stepped up, looks like Medvedev now 28 is the same-he looked so good the night be stopped Joker getting the calendar GS, Del Potro & Thiem had their careers ruined by injuries.
