Djokovic battled on today to win, but looks to have picked up a muscle injury. Would be surprised if he's able to play against Raonic.

Djoker with Raonic, Zerev and Thiem(in that order) in his half,
Nadal should meet either Kachanov or Tsitsipas in the qf but that half looks much weaker

I'd fancy Medvedev to come through. Due to face compatriot Rublev in the quarters who he is unbeaten against, and the winner of Nadal/Tsitsipas in the Semis.

Djokovic and Nadal do not look to be at 100% fitness-wise, so Medvedev is a worthy favourite. Not sure I'd be taking the 3/1 though. Zverev is a live threat on the other side. Had the beating of Thiem in the US Open and the fast court in Melbourne suits his serve.

Djokovic's movement looked better as the game went on. He got the job done today, but would need to improve to beat Zverev who will move him around the court more. Raonic doesn't have the mental temperament to really beat Djokovic. He's 0-12 in their match-ups for a reason.

Strange last set from Thiem to lose it 6-0 like that. He says he not 100% physically, but didn't want to elaborate. Dimitov is handy though and should make the Semis now.

Lovely 1/4s ahead, 7 of the top 8 seeds made it to the last 8, just that Karatsev lad (Q) inviting himself to the party

6. Dimitov beat Thiem.

Injuries are dominating the headlines. Thiem wasn't 100%. Berretini withdrew earlier and Ruud, down two sets, gave Rublev a walkover. Djokovic is playing through with a pulled muscle. Zverev has something similar and Nadal a lower back issue.

Those quarantine hotel rooms in Australia are taking their toll. ;)
