The Official Spurs thread

Postecoglou did right to criticize the team for their 2nd half performance. Fulham could have easily nicked a goal towards the end making it extremely uncomfortable.

Ball was hit out to Richarlison in the 2nd half, all the time in the world to control it. Overelaborated some Brazilian magic, (I'd check his passport) Fulham gain control. He'll be first out the door along with his ice skates.

Richarlison played very well when the game was there to be won. Good pressing, nice quick ball to Son for the decisive first goal. Could have scored for sure but at least he was eager to get on the end of things. If anybody wants to tell me he's better as a striker, good luck with that.

Kulusevski was far more frustrating on the night as he should have taken a shot on in the first half when Romero played a beaut of a throughball to him, and he set up that very decent chance for Fulham at the end with a very bad giveaway.

Correct…Kulusevski should of taken that shot, apart from that he was an absolute workhorse. What are your expectations for Richarlison this season? I stand by my prediction of him being out the door to Saudi or loaned out if a replacement can be found, Everton was his level.

My expectation is that he gets plenty of minutes (hopefully on the left) and contributes plenty of goals and/or assists. I can't see him going anywhere in a million years unless Brennan Johnson and Bryan Gil inherit the earth and confine him to an also ran. That is massively unlikely. Ange needs plenty of players across the forwrd line to share the pressing duties and Richarlison will be very near the top of the list, I'd guess.

At worst for him, one of the two might jump ahead of him but we'll see. Even then, much as I don't really like it, he'd be Son's replacement should he need breaks or get injured.

Out on the left is his only position, he might get a few assists, but his goal tally will never increase in line with a top tier team. I expect a fully fit Johnson to eventually claim that position. Time will tell.

Kulusevski works his ass off but has wasted a fortune of ball since preseason and refuses to take on his man. Richarlison ball control is atrocious. Johnson and Son wide with Veliz through the middle.

Van de Ven and Romero are incredible.
Vicario outstanding.
Bissouma gave away a bit of ball again tonight buy Hojbjerg steadied the ship.
Pape Sarr needs to get his head up more.

Ange v Poch......gonna be some game.
