I really hope that some of the opinions expressed here by certain posters are not reflective of their RL opinions. A lot of what’s been written here is setting a terrible example to young boys and girls.

You are saying (with zero evidence as far as I can see) that she could be an extortionist. So again, do you suggest that all rape victims are extortionists or just this one?

You could be a rapist. It's technically possible, even though I have no evidence that you are a rapist. Would it be ok with you if I was to suggest that in relation to you?

I am not trivialising this at all. I consider it very serious that you are suggesting that she could be an extortionist when you have zero evidence to back up the suggestion.

Probably because I never said that there weren't holes in her story, as is to be expected when a victim is intoxicated and traumatized. The Jury believed her though. I don't see why anyone would feel the need to concentrate on her inconsistences, rather than on the fact that she was raped.

One would think it would be hard to rule it out, given that the evidence of James Lawrence was rejected by both the Judge and the Jury. It seems unlikely that Mr Lawrence decided of his own volution to make up a pack of lies for the guards and the civil court.
