The Official Munster Rugby Thread™

Lucky, but take it and move on.
A good game for Crowley, without him having a necessarily good game.

Haley was excellent.

Hodnett is the real deal though, an absolute wrecking ball. If he can stay fit then he’s an option for Munster they arguably haven’t ever had. Reminds me a bit of Sean O’Brien, without the penchant for pissing on peoples leg at the bar.

They made bloody hard work of that.

Thanks to Beirne and Coombes Munster won that with a certain degree of luck.

I hope they learn from it

For the last ruck before the try, one of the Castres players was sitting up complaining at the ref, no attempt to rejoin the line.

Maybe his leg was stuck in the ruck but in that situation you have to make some effort. Might have given them an extra man to stop the try.

That was Kockett, he was acting the gowl as he always does. He had a great game in fairness to him. The ref didn’t actually penalise him, it was one of the forwards after him.

Castres were out on their feet defensively for most of the second half anyway, it was all last ditch stuff. Can’t blame him for trying.
