The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

Alisson has been great today, when needed.

Looks like he'll be out for a while.

Hammy?

Jaros is decent tbf, but the other 10 players need to manage the game so he's not under too much pressure.

Kelleher seems to get injured/ill much more than the average keeper. Must be a Macroom thing.
Aren’t his people Dunmanway based?

I can’t recall a less convincing 6 wins from 7 PL games and then factor in the 3 non PL games, it’s been a strange start but good to be winning while playing mostly average.

The 1 defeat will haunt Slot a little too.

I think they have been very lucky to get 6 pts from those 2 matches against two very poor teams. League table is a bit flattering in that all opponents are in the bottom half of the league. Very dominant for the first hour today-prob 70% posession but very few chances, often taking extra touches and passes instead of shooting. Bit of cynicsim at times with fouls and timewasting at the end. Jota one of my favourites-a very complete player who does everything well, worth the 40m paid for him which seemed high at the time. Alisson now might be out until the Nov break( 5 weeks time) so Kelleher should be playing home v Chelsea, Brighton & Villa, away v Arsenal, Southampton, CL away v Leipzig and home v Leverkusen. Hope he gets the two international games v Finland Thurs and v Greece Sun. Hope Alisson isnt missed-5 clean sheets in 8 matches for him this season including today.
