The Official Celtic Thread

Massive shit show.

A marginal offside last year and the head of refs Crawford Allan was out bitching about it. Not a peep out of him after his cheating officials do what they have always done.

Of course there's a particular clueless numpty who tries to pretend any such controversy is all in our head and it's beyond possible that Celtic are on the wrong end of a lot of decisions which certainly don't even themselves out over a season.

VAR it was hoped would at least sort out the more blatant cases but alas it hasn't - the officials are still brassnecking their way through some utterly bizarre decisions. And it's clear from the clips shown. And the numpty's only refutation is to post a laughing emogi becuase even he can see the evidence of wrongdoing from the clips but just has no explanation for them.

And again and again he'll resort to posting :ROFLMAO: becuase he knows he has nothing else. ?

You've only gone and done it. Its the attention he wanted all along. Ignore the emoji's and he'll eventually go ruin some other thread. Thats his m.o.

Serious question lads. Do yee think if yee stopped singing IRA songs at the matches, that yee might get a few more decisions in your favour?

Very much doubt it. The huns singing "no-one likes us - we don't care" type of stuff doesn't seem to adversely affect them at all in terms of getting decisions in their favour so why would changing some of the songs being sung have a beneficial influence?

Currently reading Alan Brazil's - Only here for a visit. A good read so far. Wasn't aware how badly Celtic had treated their victims of systematic child abuse in the Celtic Bhoys Club. Brazil suspects that Jock Stein may have been in on it.

 I'd be astounded if that was the case given that he gave Torbett the door as soon as he heard. I think I read that he physically shoved him out of Celtic Park. To the shame of the club, the board at the time (after Stein) subsequently dealt with Torbett's trophy business.

Of course Brazil can say what he likes about dead people without fear of being sued. Wonder if he made any such allegations against people who were alive at the time of his allegations.
AFAIK when it went to court Stein was fully exonerated.

But he did win the European Cup and RFC died trying to copy that.
