Agreed - Jacob will need to beat his Tokyo pace to deliver the ER - hope the pacemakers are up to the job ;)
Yeah. I couldn't pick out the pacers from the start list. Maybe Rambo from Melbourne track club. He's a bit long in the tooth for a DL.

Also never shouted out Rasdidat Adeleke first ever irish womens NCAA champ in a sprint event. Won the 4x100. Was their strongest performer in the 4x400.

Jeez, bucketing it down in Oslo. Great 5000 there for the women. Telly was acting up, might be the heat!, but came on just in time.

Yeah the weather is crap. No ER later on id say

Missed the womens

Klecker did great in the 5k. A pity him and mechaal didn't drive it on earlier. Jack Rayner tried hard but ran out of steam.

The Ethiopian lads were thinking about the $10k win money. Kalgelchar took it on last week cos he was trying to be selected for worlds didn't care that he was carrying the field

It was brilliant. Jacob just keeps producing.

Ollie Hoare easily my favourite runner in the circuit. He is fearless

Hard to believe OAC didn't exist 2 years ago. They took a punt on NCAA talent at the start of Covid when nobody else was signing runners to pro contracts. The let Klecker (the 5k yank) pick the coach (Dathan Ritzenheim) and the training base and now they're out performing the big Nike groups consistently

Keely looking as good as ever. Some woman. 7 under 2 mins. Thought Muir did very well from where she was with 250 to go.
Yeah. Her vs Athing Mu is going to be a hell of a show at worlds.

Muir is coming into form alright. Looked like shit earlier in the year. Hard to see a path to a medal for her in either the 800 or the 1500m at worlds though. If she manages it it would be exceptional

Just watched it on YouTube. Brilliant race. Hard to believe Seyaum isn't even a sub for Ethiopia at the worlds. The new Adidas spike must be the business too. Her and Kejelcha in the 3k both had em.

I hope mccolgan isn't too hurt.

Also euro XC champ Grovdal is a great bit of stuff. Fair play to her

Hot as balls in Paris.

Barega looks like a world beater. In 29 degree heat at half ten at night.

Great PB from Jimmy Gressier for 4th. PB for Beamish too
