If pushed to name a number, I'd have said Nick Griggs was 21 or maybe 22, but feck, he's still only 19 - another 6 months until he's 20. 13:13 is serious going for that age - 6th on the Irish all-time list already.

You'd have to think that he'll be the first Irishman under 13 minutes if Brian Fay doesn't get there.

They're both in the 3000m at London DL on sat.

PB for Kaczmarek too - so she was proper beaten. I assume coach Flo has seen Pryce coming.

Nice boost again for Griggs with another major PB and improved Irish record. I dunno if I’ve only copped him properly since seeing him at Cork city sports or what but he’s really shaping up well.
 
Adeleke will have to hope that Pryce's inexperience comes into play over 3 races at this level. Herself and Kaczmarek are very close although the Pole has upped the ante a bit. A medal will be tough but that's hardly surprising.
