I recommend Chimay. Both the beer and the cheese.

had a couple of chimay tripels last night, those monks know how to party in fairness

this is one of my local spots. as you can see it is pretty damn solid. the bechemel sauce is the cornerstone of any croque and this is a prime example. light and creamy but at the same time it gets in your face to remind you that this is no ordinary toasted sandwich.

the gold standard as far as i'm concerned, at least until i get to france or maybe that place in the east village.

That place seems good also as they have Kronenbourg 1664 beer mats.

i'd be happy enough with one egg but there would be uproar from the yanks. this place it pretty legit french, they make croissants and that kind of stuff. and yes the chips were definitely stolen.
