We spent €2bn last year alone housing refugees.
Where was the will to spend even a fraction of that on Irish homeless?
Or help out businesses which are currently going under?
Electricity bills went up overnight yet it is taking forever for bills to come down, even though electricity prices globally have reduced.
We were told "nothing could be done overnight" re homeless from 2017-2022 yet we've somehow housed nearly 200,000 refugees since February 2022.
Shameful stuff.
Somebody is getting very rich out of this.
This is your perception of Ireland :

Do us all a favour and have a chat with your GP, you are obviously not well.

So if you point out the fact the country is broken you need to go to the GP?
Harris admitted we need to massively increase housing output, should he see a GP too?
So we don't have 12,000 homeless?
A Children's Hospital costing €2.2bn on a budget of €800m?
The Irish cancer society scathing of the HSE?
Nurses and doctors overworked, emigrating in their droves.
Everyone is wrong are they?

Make prostitution legal and chemically castrate rapists

I'm onboard.
The extra income would be nice and I'm not a rapist.🤷
I don’t see evidence that making it legal will take it out of the hands of criminal gangs. They will just undercut the legitimate economy. Illegal cigarettes shows that.

As regards castration, I’d much rather they actually send rapists to prison terms that make a difference rather than letting them out after 3 years. Not sure how forced castration would fare constitutionally. But I have to say, this is populism at its very worst.

The country is not broken, it is up there as one of the best countries in the world to live in.
Maybe your idea of utopia, does not, after all exist.
If this country is so awful, why are so many migrants choosing to arrive here ?

It is you who needs to see a GP, because you are coming across here, in your posts, like someone raging with anger.

Michael Martin said last night that before FF could form a coalition with SF SF would have to address their policies on the EU,
Usually he mentions SF links to the past but from the piece i read he did not mention this,

I was contemplating giving FF a second preference, if this is the case I cannot do that.
At least FG are polar opposite to SF/IRA
