Gutting to think that the current President of the IRFU , is none other than one of the infamous Munster team from 1978, Greg Barrett, a Cork Con man and living in Garyduff.

Greg Barrett is a gent and even though a Conman is deservedly President of the IRFU.

Very true.
His younger brother was badly injured playing for UCC against UCD in the early 1980s. I was at the game. Dr Mick Molloy saved his life on the pitch.
Think he was confined to a wheelchair for life. Not sure if he subsequently passed away. If so, RIP.

First of all that's awful news for him.

Secondly... for fuck sake! Another potential kick in the teeth for him. The Munster forwards are a shell of themselves when he's not around.

That's tough if true, though there's that Dublin guy who went on to play for Italy with sight in just one eye. Hope he recovers anyway.

Now that's a disaster for him.

If that is the case, then if the IRFU have any interest they should stop RG's move to the ladyboys.
The reasoning for that transfer is out the window if Jean Kelyn has to quit.
