He has surely knocked R Byrne down the pecking order. Byrne can’t run, it’s embarrassingly slow to be honest. He’s been unmercifully burned by opponents in very recent games.

Crowley plays on the gain line, fixes defenders and passes the ball flat, everything Byrne does not do. Look at the upturn in the Munster centres play with JC at ten.

Another player who I think isn’t far off minsters player of the year is Shane Daly , He has really impressed me this year and can’t be far off an Irish team .

Himself and Nash are very very unlucky it's Lowe and Hansen ahead of them. They're miles better than Balacoune (just now) and Stockdale.

Huge credit has to go to the Munster scrum aswell. Many people thought that it would get eaten alive by the Stormers front row but they didn't take a step back the whole game. I don't recall a single scrum penalty?
Archer and Loughman were outstanding and Salanoa and Wycherley kept it solid when they came on aswell.

Still a bit away from challenging in Europe but there is no doubt now we are heading in the right direction. Rowntree and all the coaches can take a huge bow. A lot to be excited about.

There's a real steel to this Munster side, it's almost like they're taking Stand Up And Fight as inspiration for their playing style, absolutely doggedly determined
