These people need to be looked after but surely government have to protect the tax payer by ensuring no over the top payments are made, this isnt government money this is tax payers money, it has been pointed out that none of the opposition parties have factored in paying for mica in their alternative budget,
According to Daft.ie the average asking price of a home in Donegal is
€170k, so I doubt it costs three times that to build one. This will have to be properly regulated and monitored as there will certainly be someone trying to make a quick buck at the taxpayer's expense.
