Abuse of referees is a huge national issue and this type of nonsense clearly demonstrates the Wild West exists in the gaaaaa disciplinary wise.
The crap that refs from juvenile up in gaa is absolutely reprehensible and a reason the standard of reffing is where it is

I agree 100% but why expect them to suddenly clamp down on it when it’s always been that way mostly without sanction

Proper order, it was a nonsense sending off. A coach showing passion at the end of a game where the result was up in the air. The GAA have far bigger problems than this regarding what’s happening on the field, throwing the ball, head high challenges etc.

You wouldn't connect the quality of refereeing with this kind of committee room shite

Joe McDonagh was entertaining enough in fairness. Would rather have seen Offaly go up as they are going places but Carlow will probably go straight back down.

Great game in mcdonagh final, really enjoyed that. Noticable how it's maybe not as structured as Liam McCarthy level. Lads going for scores off line balls rather than playing short ones to retain possession

A really enjoyable game. Delighted Carlow won that, especially after the stroke Offaly pulled a few weeks back.

Good possibility of Offaly and Wexford being in the McDonagh Cup next year which would mean All-Ireland hurling championship down to a 7 team competition.
