The Green Shoots Thread

Load of the u21s doing well today. Obafemi and knight both scored. Smallbone, Nathan Collins Conor Masterson, dara ó shea and jayson molumby all started for their respective prem and championship teams. Things are really looking up.

Troy Parrot is looking like he's off to Millwall for the season.
Will be interesting to see how his career plays out. Bags of potential but decision making off the pitch a real worry according to some.

Ireland international Aaron Connolly had ended speculation about his future by signing a new four-year deal with Brighton.

The 20-year-old, who scored three goals in 24 Premier League appearances last season, had been in talks with the Seagulls for some time on a new deal but progress was halted and Connolly was linked with a move away, with reported interest from Bundesliga teams.

But Brighton today announced that the Mervue United graduate had signed up until 2024.

Some achievement to become club captain at 18. Another Irish centre half, Dara O'Shea made his debut for West Brom last night.

Called up to the senior squad. Good to see Kenny opting for youth over those who are not really up to it. Could easily have called up long but realistically what good would that do him or the squad long term.
