The players deserve a holiday after making an All-Ireland final in my opinion.
They're training in a Cork Jersey from January right up until August and make sacrifices for their love of the game along with providing entertainment for us the fans.
A holiday is the least they deserve.
If anything credit is due to the board for putting sponsorship/corporate money away for the players over the years so they're not faced with one huge bill.

Whites Cross did it a few times in the 60s/70s/80s I believe. Went between Imokilly and Seandun on a few occasions I think.
