other popular ones include a gondola ride in Venice, visiting the Great Wall of China, safari on the Serengeti or Masai Mara, gamble in Las Vegas, Machu Picchu, Petra, Niagara, Taj Mahal, Colloseum etc.

Pyramids and Northern Lights are definitely up there for me left to do as well

1. See the Northern Lights - Not yet, hope to knock this one off in next months. Work trip!
2. Skydive - Not yet. Not frantic to do one either.
3. Swim with dolphins - Done.
4. Go on a cruise - Not yet, will probably do one in next few years with kids.
5. Ride an elephant (er, not in a circus, I assume). Done, Thailand.
6. Go zip lining. Done, Canada.
7. Do scuba diving. Done, loadsa places.
8. Visit the Pyramids. Not done.
9. White water rafting. Done, loadsa places. Actually, almost all kayaking rather than rafting.
10. Visit the grand Canyon. Not done. Have been on waiting list to paddle/raft it for nearly 20 years.
11. Greenland. Nearly pulled it off this year with work. Maybe next year.

I've done a river cruise on the Danube but that was about it.

Yes to the above, a skydive is the only thing I really want to do from the remaining.

1. See the Northern Lights - half done; they were faint and partly cloud-obscured. does it count?
2. Skydive - no. and unlikely to ever!
3. Swim with dolphins - no. was out on a tiny boat along with the dolphins in Philippines but they wouldn't allow us to swim with them.
4. Go on a cruise - cruised down the Nile rom Luxor to Aswan.
5. Ride an elephant (er, not in a circus, I assume) - yes, in Zimbabwe.
6. Go zip lining - Nope, and will never.
7. Do scuba diving - Yup!
8. Visit the Pyramids - yes, twice.
9. White water rafting - Never did, never will.
10. Visit the grand Canyon - Not yet, but would like to.


Have gone on safari on the masai mara and in south africa; have been walking with lions; swam with sea turtles; climbed Vesuvius; trekked baboons in the Simien mountains..

Would love to:
Walk part of the Great Wall
Whale-watching off the Alaskan coast
Trans-Siberian railway
Visit the Gorillas - annoying I've worked in locations close to them but had no time to visit.
Visit Venice and fair Verona (and ideally see outdoor R&J)
Visit the Hindu Kush
Maybe hand-gliding? (i'm generally not that adventurous..)
Would love to drive across Canada and the US

Not me but one of my best friends did over a couple of years.

A week here, a week there; she loved it.

Burning Man
Swam with Dolphins.
Saw pyramids.
Walked part of camino.
Did cruise from Cyprus to Egypt.
Been to Peru and Mexico.
Did elephant ride in India.
Saw grand canyon.
Saw northern lights.

Want to visit the outback.
Want to see Moscow
I want to see masters in August and lastly I would love to to train ride from Beijing to Lhasa. Had to fly there when I got to Tibet.
