Any love here for Paul Cleary and Co? They're playing in Cyprus Avenue this September. Saw them in St Lukes when they played a few years ago. They were great even though the crowd was fairly small. I'm on the fence about going to the gig in CA.

On the one hand I really like tracks such as "Ghost Of A Chance", "Downmarket", "Last Man In Europe" and so on.

On the other hand (after seeing a few recent videos) - I'm not sure that I want to gamble €30 per ticket and my Saturday night on The Blades' ability to come close to pulling this off.

They were great live when I last saw them, if that is any help.

My attitude is to go see these type bands while they are still around. Who knows, they may never play in Cork (or anywhere!) again.

I've seen them 4 times since they reformed, they never disappoint.

Great gig last Saturday in Cyprus Avenue.
They played a great set and have some brilliant tracks in fairness.
Decent enough crowd as well.
Hopefully they'll be back there again some time.
