Villa were better team against utd , emery fault they lost, taking off Bailey when utd were on ropes.Villa would have opened 11pt gap and sealed at least 5th , good enough for CL this year, a very costly error.
Torres is a huge miss and now konsa and kamara will be , looking very dodgy now. Lenglet is terrible and results coincide with his playing. Cash not up to it defensively.

John McGinn must be the most low-key effective players in the PL.

Every time I see him play he is deceptively cute on the ball and wins more 50/50s than any man has a right to win.

Same again yesterday. Very "moneyball" in that sides will overlook or underestimate him based on his visuals, but will come out the other end of a 90min match with a much higher opinion of him.

I was only saying this to a friend when we watched the match on Sunday.

Reminds me of Milner when he was in his prime. All action versatile player that gives 110% in every game and lifts those around him, A proper leader.

I can't way to see John McGinn play Barca or Real. Its like when the tourists come to Scotland in the summer but the place is full of weegies with their taps aff.
