Very sad news he has a record that I don’t think will ever be equaled on the Gaa field. Had great times following those teams that he played with who gave us great success.
Has shook me to the core saw him in the Pairc on Saturday just devastated Our hero of Heros the bigger the day the better he played neaver took a step back from any man ...so so sad
RIP Teddy.
I am very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of the great Teddy McCarthy. A Cork GAA legend. The man that will forever be known as the winner of the double in 1990. He had a massive leap often caught on camera in full flight. I heard he was at the Under 20 All Ireland Final on Sunday too. I spoke to him briefly at the Munster Minor Final a few weeks ago. You would see him at most, if not all Cork games. He loved our Gaelic games and is a true Gael and a true gent. He will be a great loss to the GAA community. My deepest condolences to his family and friends at this time. R.I.P. Teddy.
