The Mosem valley is stunning. It's a famous wine making region. Trabher Tracken is like something out of a movie. So beautiful

We were there for a week. Both the food and the architecture were amazing. I'd highly recommend it.

Nope. Doesn't have to be at all. Very affordable. A lot cheaper than Ireland that's for sure.

Would love to go to Sicily at some point.

I reckon it could be a good time to go now with what’s going on in Ukraine. I’ve been a few times, initially it was absolutely fantastic in every sense, then the Russians found it and the last time I was there the signs in windows were in Italian and Russian.. and with that came everything you expect of rich Russians

I thought Catania was awful though, but there are so many amazing places all over the island.. Mattie has mentioned the food, but you are in one of the finest wine areas on the planet IMO also

I agree Catania was a disappointment apart from the food. Some excellent places to travel to from there though.
