It’s run by one of the Barry-Murphys,really sound people .im always happy to reccomend it .

@Bwana_Dik many hotels are now block booked by multi nationals so each hotel has less rooms to offer I guess ,

We had lunch there on Tuesday.
They were doing lunches in the bar and not the restaurant but it was very comfortable. No rush to order as they do food continuously.

Al lives in Madrid so I've no idea. We haven't been in touch for ages since he fell off the wagon.

One thing I noticed last Saturday at midday was that the city centre seemed very quiet. When I lived in Cork town used to be packed after 12 on Saturdays.
I suppose it's due to shopping centres outside the city and online shopping.
Sad to see really as I remember the vibrant atmosphere that used to be typical of Saturday afternoons.
