Marylou Pen said she met with groups in Coolock, but went to ground when asked to name what groups she met with.

Shane Coleman on newstalk says Community in Coolock have been engaged with in recent weeks despite what opposition say,

I just heard DOL getting a grilling on Morning Ireland, all he had was bluster and was critical of racists and those been violent etc.

Imagine it, someone from SF/ IRA who has an issue with scum and violence.

SF/IRA = Scum

DOL tried to draw some distinction between SF "new policy" and what their old policy was ,got tied up on knots by jennings who was firing questions at him.
Asked was there a difference between sf and gov stance he didn't point out any real change bar more resources and more talking to local communities.
We should up the rate of returns to the UK then said DOL ,so return them to the north says Jennings .
So you want controls on the border then?, more bluster from DOL . Although he did call out those who are just racist in their attitude ie some of the far right.
Not very convincing for me anyway ,more flip flopping from SF .

Mary Lou McDonalds went online recently about death threats that she recieved from some internet nutcase and of course she called the Guards.

Then she comes out not to support Guards of course who are actually assaulted by actual local racist scumbags and feral criminals in Coolock as she will not condemn their violent and destructive actions.

She has flipped to backing people who will not ever vote for her or anybody else anyway and civil society can go to hell.

DOL is now fully on script and thas to say what he is told to say as a weak mere pet of Belfast.

SF new policy is they wont object to new arrivals but if the area earmarked doesnt have all the facilities required they would
object to it, That sounds like riding two horses at the same time to me, i would say there isnt an area in the country that has every facility required,

Going by SF new policy of if an area isnt fully resourced there should be no centres there, the same logic should apply to housing, If a council announce they will build 50 social homes in an area will SF object on basis of shortage of GPs etc? O Broin constantly says they would build on a massive scale, MLMD calls that centres should be placed in affluent areas will anger people there but it is a calculated ploy to sacrifice potential votes in these areas but regain lost votes in working class areas,

They generally object to buy to let developments as they do not have enough facilities for the community.

There's a housing crisis and beds should be prioritised over creches.
