Sinn Fein are not a Normal Political Party

Donnahada o Leary said today that we need to be careful in give out accomodation to refugees.
He said that doing this would put pressure on people hoping to rent. He was echoing Fierce O Docherty who said that giving then 800€ per month to them will give them a head start in the rental market.
Hellfast has advised a shift to the right when speaking to capture a large sway of votes needed to keep their vote numbers up.
They noted a loss of votes in area normally strongholds of militant republicanism.

Strange one, I am a fan of his, well spoken and intelligent.
What does he think the fee paying schools will do? Get rid of fees.
Whether or not the school take a private fee, the teachers will need to be paid.
This is a complete red herring..

Most Secondary schools in Ireland are private.

Whether they charge fees or not is irrelevant.

If they charge fees the grant they get per pupil annually from the Department is less than if they dont ( its about €3k )

So if they stop funding most fee paying schools like Pres & Christains will stop charging and the State will pay more.

Pres & Christians survive because there are alot of Cork people willing to fork out around €5k per child to convince themselves they are 'posh'. They wont be paying €15k

The types who go to Gonzaga, Clongowes & Glenstal ( Actual Posh People 😳) will be able to afford the difference

Long story short parents will fork out more if they think it will give their kids a greater chance of getting a university place

Going on about Dublin schools in relation to Cork is nonsensical.

Dinny Leary is barking up the wrong tree if he thinks this is going to get him anything but the publics ire.

He is also playing to his voter base with this nonsense and willing to sacrifice wealthier families who want to give their children the best options in education and start in life while at the same time they also work very hard and make huge sacrifices in the first place to fund private education in many cases.

The grind schools are also full of kids in need of a boost that the public system cannot provide for all.

You work hard and make an effort you are in their target sights as you will be taxed out of existance.

Do as little as possible and wait for the State to provide for your entire lifes needs is their mantra.

Lol from the Tommy Gould 'golf is an elitest sport' playbook.

They want everyone in social housing, public schools and public hospitals.

Who needs choice when the State can just do everything for you?

See also the HSE,RTE and the NTC etc for great examples of effeciency, delivery and fully on budget/program etc.

We can be just like Cuba or Venezuela but with more rain.

No they don't. You're obviously blinded by the blueness of your shirt Statty

Grind schools get no state funding as they are not run by the Dep Of Education

They do not want to get rid of private schools and have much more social housing?

Fair enough.

You are a full-time civil servant spamming here all day every day.

How exactly will you be able to help the State deliver?

If the public schools were that good why do we even need them?

They produce better results for the people who are willing to pay for it as a free choice.

See also private schools.

Irish colleges in the summer.

School of Music.

Despite 13 years of teaching Irish in public schools hardly anyone can even speak it?

The State can somehow do better in an egalatarian one size fits all model?
