Why would a Sinn Fein MEP even object to these actions to stop Russia from interfering in E.U. elections?

This is not the first time that S.F. MEP Chris MacManus has abstained from votes that directly target Putin's Russia.

The E.U. has already voted overwhelmingly to declare Russia a terrorist State.
