Two very strong sides by looks of it

Christians were the better team today and deserved their win. I'd expect Midleton to bounce back and beat Blackwater and join Christians in the quarters. David Cremin and Eoghan Kirby were CBC's best players with Brian Keating and Eoin Downey also playing well. Jack Leahy, Timmy Wilk, Diarmuid Healy and Paudie O Sullivan were probably Midleton's best players. CBC was very well organised and Midleton need to get more of a spread of scores outside of Leahy. Enjoyable game overall

Christians won quite comfortably really. Always looked to have that extra gear and were physically more imposing. Good spread of quality players throughout the team - looked genuine contenders today.

Felt CBC would have too much. Saw both CBC and Midleton play Flannans in challenge games. The Clare side beat Midleton while CBC hammered Flannans.

Good to see the games back all the same

It's a strong Christians panel on paper anyway. A few of them have senior club experience already, plus plenty of ex Cork minors.

Midleton looked a strong line up too. I wouldn't count them out yet.

Hopefully will get to some games as the competition progresses.
