great spot !! Went there at end of August and there was some sort of end of summer festival so was busier than normal I imagine. There was good atmosphere about the old town at night. Tapas bar pub crawl all the way - pop in get your wine ; grab a tapas and stand outside !! In main square there was an open air orchestra concert playing film tunes which was really cool ... the setting was amazing ! Again just lucky to get that being the weekend that was in it. Restaurants down by pier well worth a visit if you like fish.

cheers, was there about a month back, proposed to the mrs to be up on Monte Urgull overlooking the beach.People generally very friendly, chilled out. Not too hot either, and the beach is awesome.
