Bakhurst is clearly out of his league. He wanted to breach GDPR laws and expose RTÉ’s only talent as some sort of PR exercise. A combination of a weak line Minister and an egotistical RTÉ DG along with the RTÉ funding crisis being as bad as it’s ever been nearly 18 months after the scandal surely hasn’t given the public any confidence that things are changing.
