Rory Gallagher Gaa coach

Was set to take up a post with Naas gaa as a coach but wont be doing so now,
It is reported Jarlath Burns expressed concern at the implications of him getting the job,
IMO Gallagher was not convicted in a court and should be allowed carry on with his career,

Hard to know without knowing the full story or facts.
A lot of comments online suggesting the wife made up a lot of stuff, which is probably supported by the fact the PSNI investigated but didn't take any further.
An awful thing in fairness if he's been wrongly accused and can't get on with things.
But Burns is no fool, maybe he knows the finer details and that's what has prompted him to get involved.

Seems Burns is wary of the implications with the Camogie and LGFA due to join under GAA banner.

Impossible to make a call on what the truth is, but as is always the case that won't stop anyone either way.

It's clear though that many close to home up north aren't going near him. Regardless, why he keeps putting himself and his family in the public eye looking for these coaching jobs I simply can't understand.

The elephant in the room here, which his solicitors alluded to in that weird letter they published when he didn't end up getting the Derry job, is that he's missing out on paid coaching gigs with all this. But nobody can publicly acknowledge that. It would be fascinating if he ever tried to push a damages case on the back of it and the can of worms it would open...

Really? He's a scumbag and a wifebeater. Just because he wasn't convicted doesn't mean he wasn't guilty. It is well known what he was up to. His wifes story was backed up by others.

Yea sure let him carry on regardless. Ffs
