she sure was - have read some of her books - gonna get more..
I feel v sad about her passing - more cos of what she represented.. she brought home the real truth about the impacts of war on civilians.. and I doubt there will be another like her.. Simon Reeve comes close I guess.. but times are different now.. like, she got to experience traditional cultures before the invasion of capitalism etc
