Renting in Sweden (Stockholm)

May have an opportunity to move to Stockholm soon, but I've only read horror stories about having to get subletted apartments and even those seem to be fairly difficult to get.

Any one have any experiences renting apartments in Stockholm or anywhere else in Sweden? Or is it not an issue?

I'm living in malmö.this place is a disaster and Stockholm is worse.

it's definitely not easy here. there's waiting lists and all the rest. definitely no like chasing up an ad in the paper.
