I hear it's good but those guys come off as absolute bellends in any of the press I've seen them do.

20 something nordies born long after the Belfast agreement spouting shit about the troubles sickens my shit.

They won't be getting an hour and a half of my time.

Total bellends, but the movie actually isn’t bad.

saw it in the cinema, t'was ok, fassbender and the guy playng the teacher were good, the prod girl was a total lasher

one bit i laughed at when they had a scene with gerry adams on a dancefloor

music was not my bag at all tho', pretty boring tbh (each to their own tho')

Watched the first hour of the Directors Cut of Napoleon last night.

3 and a half hours long. Couldn't manage that in one sitting. The theatrical cut was a slog in de pictures tbh.

Enjoyed it so far. Gave a bit of backstory to Josephine. The tone of the movie is a bit off though.

the d.c. is defo better

i could have done without any of the josephine stuff tbh, i just don't care about his (or most people's, for that matter) personal life, the politics and military stuff are just far more interesting to me



the actress playing josephine is very good though it has to be said, seen her in a few things and always a fine performance

Tbf if you're into your history the early seasons are excellent.

There's a lot of focus on the politics of the time, Churchill, The Suez crisis, etc.

I thought it would be crap but the early seasons at least are worth watching.
