Started OK I thought but alas seemed to go downhill and then got more and more unbeleivable as a plot. Seemed to have an ending where they'll have a Luther 2.

Pity, because I quite liked the series. 5/10

Luther. I'd give it 6/10 but at least 2 of those points are for the lovely Idris. He has great screen presence. Grand brain dead entertainment for a Saturday night.

Andrea Riseborough (Death of Stalin, Mandy) delivers a career best turn as an alcoholic who wins the lottery and squanders the lot.

Its the feature debut of Michael Morris who did a lot of Better Call Saul.

It has got a bit of flak as they used movie star pals (Ed Norton , Gwyneth Paltrow) to push the movie to academy members and circumvented the usual advertising, studio screening/swag studio route.

Its a nice small movie, doesn't tear up any trees but Riseborough is good value for her Oscar nom nom nom.

7/10.

Everything, Everywhere, all at once.

Bonkers parallel universe comedy/martial arts/family drama.

Michelle Yeoh is outstanding in what is by far the most inventive movie you're going to see in 2022. Laughed out loud 3 or 4 times. (Theres a dog on an extendable lead fight that has to be seen to be believed.)

The Matrix crossed with a mother/ daughter story.

9/10.
