TAR, gave up on it after 45 mins last month and watched the rest of it at the weekend.

Blanchett is very good. Will probably win the Oscar. 8/10.




The Quiet Girl.

Herself wanted to watch it so I got roped in. Was alright , bit of a kitchen sink drama vibe off it. Its not going to win the Oscar

ID2. I was bored and wasn't expecting much - another of those Green Street football hooligan type ones but this was probably the best I've seen of this genre. Reasonable story. 6.5/10

EO,saw it in the Triskel during the week,8/10,very impressed with it,great sound and visuals,as we follow the journey of a donkey called EO,through eastern Europe.

Official Competition,which I watched in Cork Cineclub on Thurs night,a satirical comedy starring Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas.
6/10,was a good laugh,both actors very good in it.
