As a by product though, they did notice that the country making all the noise about the dodgy decision actually bent some rules themselves.

Imagine the fucking craic of a Russian World Cup. There'd be a thousand deaths due to spontaneous human combustion because the craic would be so fucking good.

The craic is Russia will be non existent. Ditto Qatar. FIFA are doing their level best to ensure that football loses it's place as the No.1 team sport in the world. Expect sponsorships to be lost and interest in the corrupt tournaments to wane.
