President Biden 2020-2024 - Official Discussion Thread

You live in Lake Charles apparently and you have stated you worked in Corporate and now you work nights.
Alright that’s fine no problem.
You use the word wingnut a lot.
Right now it’s 7.20 am in Cork and it’s 12 O0 am in Illinois and you are on a Cork forum.
You must work very hard or just love Cork.
I love Cork also so we can agree on this and let’s see what happens in the next few months.
I personally don’t think it’s election over and nothing we have seen in the debate will change much on how the base actually votes.
Biden did alright in North Carolina and Trump was just the same as any rally in Virginia.
4 months of the 2 worst candidates in history is just a nightmare for anyone
I live in St Charles, about 35 miles west of Chicago (where I was born). I retired as an executive for a major insurance company. But then I took a full time night job. The job is rather active, which was the point, since I have been watching my friends die or become crippled with bad joints/health for about ten years after they retired. (I’m pretty old). I work nights out of choice for various other reasons as well.

I am in charge here at night, so it is easy for me to sneak away and post on PrOC from time to time. It seems to me that many of you post in the morning there, so if I want to start a conversation, morning your time is the best time to post.

Most of my family emigrated from Cork before WW1. I was actually taught to hate Cork from childhood by my Cork born grandmother who had had a terrible time there. But my late brother, who was rich at a certain point, suggested one morning that we hop a plane and check Cork out (in 1986). I found that I liked Ireland. But he loved it and married a Cork girl. She has a huge family. He and she had kids and now I have grand nieces there. I’ve been to Cork maybe ten or more times since then.

What part of the States did you live in?

If my memory serves me right you got divorced some years ago ?

He has this weird obsession with divorce. He believes that no one is ( or should be) allowed to divorce someone if the other person doesn't agree.

His theory is based on a misunderstanding of contract law.

In short, don't mind the eejit
Thank you.

I’ll console him here by saying that since I’m a practicing Catholic, I am actually still married.

The GOP has been a disgrace in tolerating Trump.

However the Dems are short-changing people in presenting Biden as having the capacity to do the Job.

He sought to demonstrate that he is up to the job, instead, he removed any doubt that he's totally lacking the capacity to do the job.

Yet the Dems are trying to shrug if off as he just performed poorly in a tv debate but Trump was lying. This is pathetic - the bar was set very low and Biden fell flat on his face.

Sending this guy to a G7 meeting is not only insulting the US People but also insulting the rest of the world.

It's a sick joke at this stage

You’re insulting Thready with a rattled comment stupid comment.
I have seen rattled and I never seen it more than on a debate watched by 50 million people and a NY Times article claiming he should walk away ( if he can) and CNN in Meltdown over one debate in June.
I know who is rattled here and it ain’t thready.
Cheers Finny, I’ve have that idiot on ignore for years, his opinion on anything is as valuable as Choon’s 🤣

The democrats are rattled but you constantly insult people on here for no reason but they disagree with you.
Try being nice to people its a refreshing change 👍
You are a fine poster finny. But if you think treehousey is holier than thou then you are very much mistaken. He is constantly insulting people on the PROC. Then when you insult him back he sticks you on ignore. He's an ignoramus. Dont be fooled.
