Sad to see it go - had many a great weekend lunch and plenty of boozy Friday night dinners in Blair's Inn. My brother's anti-stag party dinner was there in 2019.

It has been mentioned in the restaurant thread recently - their standards have been badly slipping for a long while. Particularly post-Covid.

It fell off a cliff quality wise. Hopefully they don’t blame VAT etc. Management/Owners solely to blame for neglecting the place.

It was a great location with plenty of money in the Tower/Cloghroe/Blarney catchment area.

Looks like they voted with their feet. You can’t run a successful business with a shit product.

Perry Street Cafe gone back in all 3 locations.

I go to the one in Ringaskiddy regularly when I'm working down that way, it's a decent lunch where there are no other options.

I feel for all the nice staff who will lose there jobs coming up to Christmas

Their cafe on the main street Toastie is flying it. Presume they're just going to concentrate on that.

I'm absolutely distraught ? I heard the news a while ago, we were only there on Sunday. Fabulous food, I thought they'd made it.

Awful. I didn't know the place and I've never been there, but it really upsets me to see local cafes and restaurants closing in Cork
