Not many Cork fellas will have that coin lying around, so that narrows it down to the likes of Roy Keane, Denis O'Brien, Benny, and of course PJ.

With his €250k a year plus expenses, it's very possibly that the Ballina native decided to bring the famous guitar back to Leeside in an attempt to convince locals that he's actually from Cork and not Mayo.

Hopefully he addresses this speculation on tomorrow's show. Before heading to the South County to show off his new guitar. ?

In the grand scheme, €80k for the Martin was savage value. That was his main acoustic like.

I've long been of the opinion that Catherine Martin is Ireland's sexiest TD, and that has only been reinforced today. I nearly cried when I saw her post that the guitar was "coming home".

I'd say she's been in a few moshpits in her time, and has a few Led Zeppelin tshirts in her wardrobe.

Hopefully PJ has her on soon. On the show like.

What an absolutely clinical "fuck you" to Peter Aiken, who has promoted Rory Gallagher since day one, and is doing the Joe Bonamassa shows in the Marquee.

So we can wave goodbye to that guitar being featured at any of those gigs. No was is Desmond lending the guitar for a gig put on by his biggest rival.

Desmond is a Cork man btw. Our own putting the money on the table when it was most needed.
