Jerry showing neck like a jockey's bollox said he'd be in favour of VAT cut even though his party in power for past 13 years and decided not to re introduce the temporary measure!!
Peej mentioned the cost of cutting the VAT as approx €600m but never asked Jerry what services he'd like to see cut to fund it!!

And few have pointed out that VAT is passed directly on to the customer so any VAT reduction should therefore be accompanied by businesses reducing their prices.

PJ had a hotelier from cork on the day of the budget Mangan from Vienna woods i think, He rubbished Pascals estimate that it would cost 600m,
PJ never delved deeper into it, There is a protest at the Dail today, Publicans and restaurant owners, Expect a few TDs to pop out for a photo op,
