pj coogan show

PJ just after waking up, Throws on his Mayo Jersey, Will head down to the pool and throw the towels on the sun loungers,
Will then head in for breakfast, PJ booked all inclusive so his plate will be piled high with every item from the buffet,
Goes down to the pool and tunes into the opinion line and hopes Paul Byrne and Gareth make a balls of replacing him,

I don't know - I'd say Peej more the kind of lad that packs the Barrys tea, Kellogs corn flakes and Galtee rashers and books a self catering apartment with full kitchen facilities that he never uses for the duration of holiday except to eat his corn flakes and drink his tea!!

After breakfast, it's San Miguel and all you can eat deals for lunch, dinner and snacks!!

Paul Byrne wouldn't be too bad in fairness.

That Gareth gowl is just pure shit. Absolute fuckin waste of good airtime, and oxygen.

Thankfully I haven't listened to the radio in a long time.

It's the secret to sanity.

Don't know a whole lot about PJ other than he's a talk-jock, and I seldom have time to listen to his show, but he sure has the bejaysus rattled out of some of PROC's "finest" here. ?

Gareth O' C on about this campaign for 9% VAT rate again. Neither he or Peej or any of their guests have ever outlined good reason for maintaining the covid era 9% rate which was flagged at the time as a temporary measure due to covid.
The VAT goes to taxman anyway so unless the business intends pocketing the extra 4.5% and not passing it on to consumer, it'll make very little difference.
Not like the extra 4.5% will deter customers - for €100 meal before VAT, a consumer might think it's a tad steep and pass on but with VAT, paying €113.5 rather than €109 is hardly going to be deal breaker.

Getting initial cost closer to €75 or €80 that meal would have been a few years ago much more likely to bring more customers in.

I don't know. Lot of traders getting very upset about it, including Peej's far right nutjob friend down in Kerry.
Just don't get it tbh.
Could be worse for them - in UK restaurants charge VAT at 20%. Reduced to 5% for covid times but back at 20% since mid 2022.
