Paddy Vieira to NYC

Patrick Vieira has been appointed head coach of New York City FC, the club announced on Monday.

The former Arsenal and France star has signed a three-year contract to replace the sacked Jason Kreis at the helm of the second-year expansion club and will take over on 1 January, the team said.

That's effectively an internal transfer right?

Likely enough that he'll end up back at Citeh in a few years.

Interesting move for him.

Not sure MLS is the best league to learn as a new manager but theres no real tried and trusted route to the top either.

Will probably take a few youngsters from the reserves with him, which will be good experience. Angelino came on a lot at NYC last season.
