Those steps up to Summerhill opposite the railway station on Glanmire Road were once a shortcut to Summerhill Railway Station. The Clifton Terrace Bridge. Summerhill Station was the Cork Terminus of the Cobh Youghal Line until the mid 1890s

Think there was a bad accident on that line back in the day.

Happy days using those steps as a short cut through St Lukes top to tail in red and white on the way to and from the station following Cork the length and breadth of the country
