Official UEFA Champions League 24/25 Thread

Shearer said last night he saw little of Raphinha potential at Leeds, Christ almighty he was electric at Leeds

He was very promising at Leeds alright, but I doubt even you thought he would ever get to "goal a game as CL top scorer and leading Ballon D'Or candidate" territory....shirley?

heh heh

Raphinha's goal was astounding - smashes a cracking shot off his left, gets parried, and then hits a laser accurate half volley off his right!
The level these lads are at is phenomenal

Sommer made some world class saves as well
Sommer was my MOTM last night if you’d to pick from a winning team. He made some of the best saves you’ll see all season. He’s a prime example of how clever Inter are in the market. Getting experienced players for next to nothing and building a team of those type of lads.

Yamal was probably the MOTM but it doesn’t usually come from the losing team.

What i loved about him at leeds was his attitude, The final game of the season 21/22 at brentford where we had to win he ran himself
into the ground, Incidentally that great tactician Jesse Marsch had him taking long throw ins,

I read he has played over a hundred senior games. Mad stuff at 17.

That's Wayne Rooney levels of overplaying a young talent.

You'd hope he doesn't suffer with a lot of injuries and/or end up burnt out in his twenties
