. Whoever was in charge of swindon has got to running McCarthy close though - think they finished the season with over 100 goals conceded. some going.

they played 42 games that season,not sure how many points they got.B
ack then,you could be relegated with 40 odd points, now,40 points gets you a decent mid table position

swindon were only up one season.on their return to division one,they were promptly relegated to division two
