watford were on record for having the lowest points ccumulated in a season i think, probably will get broken by Sunderland though.

I thought Sunderland were with 19 the season before last.

They could well beat that this year.

they played 42 games that season,not sure how many points they got.B
ack then,you could be relegated with 40 odd points, now,40 points gets you a decent mid table position

meant as in accumulated, watford wereup for one season only, swindo were up twice and sunderland were doing well enough until they bought foreign mercenaries ike bjorklund, flo and schwarz

swindon were only up one season.on their return to division one,they were promptly relegated to division two

I knew a Watford fan years ago in School...that was back in the day when they were just after the 'glory' period...after they challenged for the league one year, and FA Cup finalists in 84 !!!! Elton at wembley....and not another gayer in sight!!!!
