Michelle O'Neill Appreciation Thread.

Jayne Brady head of NI civil service, These were govt issued phones,

Not sure that Jayne Brady has the necessary authority to tell anyone how to use their govt issued phones apart from the usual "usage rules" such as no gambling, no bullying, no pornographic content etc. I've a work issued phone and can delete any number of texts or whatsapps from it without any censure.

And again, I think in the run up to an election you seem a lot more concerned with the removal of a whatsapp message than you do with very senior members of AGS down here "losing" a number of phones, never mind a couple of texts on them.

She wiped her phone and Ipad before returning them. She also accepts she shouldn't have done it. Arlene returned hers without wiping it.

Not sure wiping work phones and ipads before returning them is that unusual tbh - especially if they're being "recycled" for reuse by other staff if it's got personal information on it. Most companies allow their phones be used for personal stuff as well but maybe there were rules in the NI civil service not permitting that so fair enough if that's the case she shouldn't have been using it for personal stuff.
