Medical Question.......gallbladders

howdy,

anyone here have their gallbladder out or know someone who has?
im just wondering about the after effects of said operation. Im due to have mine out and having looked at other message boards, and spoken to relatives etc who have had theirs out, the general consensus was, if i was in agony then dont get it out. If they had their time over they wouldnt have gotten it out.

just wondering if anyone here has any advice?

hubby had his out used to be a major op but now done by keyhole surgery its fine. He had one night in hosp and one week off work, no prob

no, i have small gallstones. everything else is fine

Hiya, I had mine out summer 2006, it was grand. Keyhole surgery in the bons, in the hospital for a few days and then home. It was grand.

No problems since.....
