Love the way the Paddies in Spain are referred to as ex-pats in that article, admittedly from 2010.
The correct term is immigrants, and nothing wrong with being an immigrant.

But of course the correct usage is that foreigners coming here are (filthy) immigrants, but when we move to another country - and of course our friends from over the water - we're "ex-pats."

BTW he had sexual congres with a 16 year old, but to be fair he never dipped his wick outside marriage apart from that one indiscretion
