Carbery going with a group stage format, after 5 clubs were regraded to Junior B to cut the Championship to 16 teams

They put in place a points system from 2019 to track league and championship performance. The 5 teams that finished bottom of that system were: Dohenys, O Donovan Rossa, Kilmeen, Clann Na Gael and Diarmuid O Mathaunas

Imokilly championship gone to 12 teams. Few teams like fr o neills and Castlelyons after regrading to B after a few hammerings last year. So 3 groups of 4 to be played in June for a few rounds and stop a small bit for hurling!
Imokilly after putting an impressive back room team together aswel for the divisional team so be interesting to see if they get the buy in from clubs!

Seems like the county Junior B competition will have a tonne of new teams so. They had little choice but to cap the number of teams in Carbery. 21 is too many

Id say alot of divisional boards are worried they'll be disbanded in the near future so their trying to look like their being proactive and make big changes to their championships
